So here’s a list of everything, I have got to give;
To my mother, Rose Lynn Mann, I leave my whole collection
Of specimens and research I’ve got organized outside
Someday my scientific work will prove there’s a connection
Between “The Beast That Roars” and why my Daddy died.
If Mom dies too, then Mr. Brown, my teacher, has to take it
He’s real smart, he taught me well, so he’ll know what to do
And Rob, you take my kitten, but be careful not to break it!
