I BROUGHT A GORILLA HOME
I went to the zoo today, saw the Zebra and Giraffe
The Lion there had lots of hair, and the Penguins made me laugh!
Saw the Kangaroo hop and the Walrus flop,
Watched two Wolves share a bone
But I’ve got a surprise, so close your eyes,
'Cause I brought a Gorilla home!

Couldn’t leave him there! Cause he had no chair, so

Well what do you expect!? Everyone wants to be free!
And a Gorilla deserves respect, just like you and me!
All the Elephants have to wear leg chains, and the Tigers live behind bars
And none of them have a lawn to lie down on, half as nice as ours! So,

He’s been home-schooled, and he’s very cool!

That’s all he gets at the zoo, I think, all those animals have it rough!
He’s a family man and he’s got a plan! When y’meet him, he’ll explain
He's gonna run for office, ... wants me to run his campaign, so ...
