- Peter’s version about walking through change
ITSY SPIDER
Itsy Bitsy Spider was frightened by the rain
But Itsy Spider didn’t have an Itsy Bitsy brain
She went to school and learned to swim
And then she went to shop
And this is what the Itsy Bitsy spider went and bought
She bought an, …
An isty bitsy tiny winey
Purple polka dot bikini
Silk and Rayon, nice and shiney
Holes for all her legs (and hiney!)
Then she,
Went up the spout and waited for the rain
She felt a little nervous, then finally it came
Down came the rain and washed her out the chute
But she swam the raging rapids in her purple bathing suit!
She scrambled up the water spout, it gave her such thrill,
She laughed and tumbled down again, just like Jack and Jill
She caught the rain drops in her mouth! She really loved
the rain!
She played all day there, climbing up and sliding down again.
So the Itsy Bitsy Spider went up the water spout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Out came the sun, but she wanted rain to pour
’Cause the Itsy Bitsy Spider wasn’t frightened anymore.
No, the Itsy Bitsy Spider wasn’t frightened anymore.
